Join us on a magical day of resort hopping and fun at Magic Kingdom!

Today’s adventure begins with a Lyft ride to the Ticket and Transport Centre, leading us to explore the enchanting resorts around Disney property.

First stop: The Polynesian! After a stroll through this tropical paradise, we couldn’t resist breakfast at Captain Cook’s. The star of the show? The legendary Tonga Toast – a massive cube of banana bread coated in cinnamon sugar, accompanied by a side of bacon. It’s a must-try treat that’s both huge and delicious.

Next, we hopped on the monorail to the Grand Floridian, reminiscing about our Disneyland Hotel in Paris and admiring the timeless elegance of this Disney resort.

A quick monorail ride brought us to the unique and modern Contemporary Resort, home to the popular Cafe Mickey character meal and adorned with charming Mary Blair murals.

Our journey continued on the monorail to the tranquil Wilderness Lodge, a hidden gem just minutes away from the bustling Magic Kingdom. Its stunning surroundings make it a perfect retreat.

Finally, we arrived at Magic Kingdom around 3 pm. We enjoyed the Festival of Fantasy Parade, caught the Frontierland Hoe-Down, explored shops, and indulged in a relaxing lunch at Pecos Bill’s. The kids’ taco meals were just right after our hearty breakfast. The adventure didn’t stop there – we managed to experience Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, Buzz Lightyear, Voyage of the Little Mermaid, the Barnstormer, the classic It’s a Small World, People Mover, and Carousel of Progress – quite a feat for two tired middle-aged women!

Wrapping up the day just after 10 pm, we headed back to Disney Springs via Saratoga Springs, taking a Lyft for a well-deserved rest after another busy and magical day.
