Join us for an incredible weekend adventure in Orlando!
Friday kicked off with a relaxing day at Discovery Cove, where we experienced a once-in-a-lifetime dolphin swim and enjoyed the beauty of the park. However, a dining mishap at Universal brought some unexpected challenges. Watch to find out more!
At Discovery Cove, we started early with a Lyft ride from Surfside, exploring the park before our dolphin swim with the delightful Aries. The trainers shared fascinating insights into dolphin behaviour, and Aries even introduced us to a new friend. Snorkelling with rays and watching sharks added to the day’s excitement.
A mix-up with our Universal Super Hero Dining reservation didn’t dampen our spirits. Although a glitch in the system caused some disappointment, we made the best of it with a visit to IHOP for a simple but tasty dinner. Sometimes, the unexpected turns into a memorable part of the journey.
Saturday was all about (Sam’s) shopping! A Lyft took us to Dollar Tree and Walmart for crafting supplies and exciting food. We also explored Orlando Premium Outlet, where a visit to the Disney Character Warehouse resulted in some fantastic finds, including Halloween t-shirts and deals at Bath and Body Works.
After the shopping spree, we headed to Epcot for a delicious food tour around World Showcase. From Joffrey’s Pine Berry Smoothie to spicy lamb kebabs in Morocco and treats from the Encanto booth, we savoured every bite.
The day continued with a Friendship Boat to Hollywood Studios, a ride on Midway Mania, and a magical evening in Galaxy’s Edge. Our Star Wars-themed night included Rise of the Resistance, Smugglers Run, Star Tours, and the spectacular Fantasmic! We even dodged the splash zone for an unforgettable experience. The night concluded with a Lyft back to Surfside, capping off a fantastic day that ended in our room at midnight.
