Epic Universe February update

The lovely people at orlandoparkstop have done it again with another Epic Universe megga update from the queen of this type of update, Alicia Stella with graphics from the mighty Bioreconstruct (find him on twitter) – there is a great video (see below) and blog post on all the updates this month and there are loads.

A quick rundown on what you can find is :

  • How to train your dragon land
    • 2 skeletons of statues (as seen in the movie) of a Viking and a dragon are in place in what will be a lagoon
    • Most of the track for  the coaster is in place, expected to be a family coaster it has a lot of banked turns
    • The great hall restaurant is well under construction and the quick service restaurant has seemingly appeared overnight
    • The theatre building is also coming along nicely

 

  • Universal monsters land
    • The last bit of coaster track has been laid for the spinning coaster
    • New barn section of theming has been added to the coaster track
    • Windmill themed dining has had a new section added

 

  • Wizarding World
    • Framing for the park entrance is now in place
    • The Wizarding World is now expected to be based in Paris
    • There are lots of buildings and facades now completed

 

  • Super Nintendo World
    • Entrance and warp pipe is now being covered in electricidal conduit
    • Framing for Peach’s castle is now in place
    • The Toadstool Cafe frame is in place
    • Yoshi ride track is being installed
    • Donkey Kong Coaster is underway too

 

  • Park Entry and Hub Areas
    • The large gift shop and guest services buildings are very much taking shape
    • The hubs central flat ride has had its basement level enclosed
    • The central fountain is also coming along
    • The hotel at the back of the park is making slow steady progress
    • The hub’s roller coaster which has two tracks is going to be huge and some of the large pieces of track have been installed
    • The expected space themed hotel just outside the park has now had most of its outer construction completed
