About Us

An Independent blog created by two ladies of a certain age that just love Orlando, Disney and food!

We are both massive Disney, Star Wars and Marvel fans, who also like a sprinkling of Harry Potter, Minions, Transformers and Sea life. We are also foodies, so Orlando really is our favourite place in the universe.

Our home park is Disneyland Paris, we were Shareholders, then Annual Pass Holders for many years (until the pandemic), and are now AP holders again. Since 2010 we have been on many spontaneous trips together (and occasionally  separately).

One of our dreams came true when Disneyland Paris announced they were going to have “Run Disney” events and we attended every year they were running, we really hope they come back soon.

Always planning something we are slowly ticking everything off our theme park bucket list – there is never a dull moment.

Sam

Shaz

Sam is a huge Disney Villains fan, a Star Wars nerd and has a unhealthy obsession with Capt. Jack Sparrow, in fact she has a bit of a thing for Pirates in general, but Capt. Jack is her absolute favourite. 

Sam is the crafty one. If we need T-shirts or bags or any other kind of accessory Sam can make it. 

When not at Disney, thinking about Disney or planning about Disney (can you see a theme here) her main hobby is Beauty Pageants. Which she is pretty good at. 

She is also known to be a lover of cake .. and cheese .. but mostly cake. If we are in need of someone to try all the cake and sweet stuff at a food  festival or event Sam is the one who does it.

Sharon is our tech wiz, as well as being a massive Star Wars nerd and Disney Villains fan and has a number of Star Wars tattoos on her legs and an entire Disney Villains sleeve tattoo (Captain Hook is her absolute favourite). 

She is a HUGE Stitch fan, even going as far as building a Stitch costume which we have used to raise money for charity. 

Her favourite film is not what you would expect – JAWS – she is a crazy shark lady, so Sea World is always a favourite. She narrowly missed out on riding the Jaws ride at Universal before it closed. 

In her spare time she looks after her 3 horses and competes in shows.
